Terms of Service

  • Authenticity Guarantee: We take pride in the curated selection of pre-loved luxury items. All items undergo a multi-step authentication process. While we strive for 100% accuracy, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.

  • Acceptance: All items submitted for consignment or buy-in will undergo a mandatory authentication process. OurLux reserves the right to reject any item that does not meet our authenticity or condition standards. If an item is deemed inauthentic, consignor / seller will be charged an authentication fee of $100-$400 (depending on brand and value of item). Item will be returned to/collected by the consignor / seller at their expense.
  • "As-Is" Condition: As a pre-loved retailer, items are sold in their current condition as described in our listings. Small imperfections are inherent to pre-owned goods. It is the buyer's responsibility to review all photos and descriptions before purchase.

OurLux is an independent reseller of authentic pre-loved luxury items. All trademarks, brand names, and logos mentioned or displayed on all our platforms are the property of their respective owners.

OurLux is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the brands we sell. Any use of trademarked names or imagery is solely for the purpose of describing and identifying the specific items available for resale.

  • Order Finalization: To protect the exclusivity of our inventory, a sale is only considered finalized and the item secured once payment (deposit or full) is confirmed by OurLux.

  • Inventory Policy: Due to the unique nature of pre-loved luxury, items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot hold items based on inquiries; priority is strictly given to the first confirmed payment.

  • Period: The initial consignment period is 60 days. During this time, the item must remain exclusively with OurLux at our Far East Plaza shop or on our digital platforms. If consignor decide to take back item before the agreed consignment Period, an adminstrative fee and authentication fee of $200-$400 fee will be imposed depending on brand and value of the item.

  • Pricing : OurLux will determine the selling price of the item(s) based on their condition, brand, model, and market value. Take back price will be paid out to consignor as per agreed in the consigment invoice, or otherwise advised if there were lower offers or changes in market value.

  • Shipping: Local shipping is free and delivered by our in-house driver. Overseas shipping costs are calculated based on the destination and weight of the package. We are not liable for any delays, physical damages, or loss of items caused by third-party courier services.

    Furthermore, for international orders, the recipient is the importer of record and is solely responsible for all applicable customs duties, taxes, and regulatory fees required by the destination country. We recommend that clients opt for additional shipping insurance for high-value acquisitions, as our liability is limited to the successful handover of the item to the carrier.

    If the consignor / seller is shipping an item to us (locally or overseas), the risk of loss remains with the consignor / seller until the package is physically received and inspected by our team.

  • Refund Policy: Due to the nature of pre-loved luxury goods, all sales are final. Returns or exchanges are only considered in the rare event that an item is proven non-authentic by a recognized third-party authenticator.

  • Account Responsibility: When creating a membership account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • Data Use: Your membership data is used to provide you with tailored rewards and history of your luxury acquisitions.

  • OurLux shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our digital platforms or the purchase of our products. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific item in question.
  • OurLux will exercise reasonable care in handling and storing the item(s) but will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or theft. Please note that surveillance cameras are in operation on the shop premises for security purposes. Additionally, items consigned to OurLux are not insured by OurLux. The consignor warrants that they are the rightful owner of the item(s) and have the authority to consign them to OurLux.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

Privacy Policy

We collect information through various platforms to provide a seamless luxury shopping experience:

  • Meta Platforms (Instagram & Facebook): When you interact with our app or social profiles, we may receive your public profile information, name, and email address based on your privacy settings.

  • WhatsApp Business: We collect your phone number and chat history when you contact us for product inquiries, consignments, or appointment bookings at our Far East Plaza shop.

  • OurLux Website: We collect personal details including your name, contact information, and shipping address when you create an account or place an order.

Your data is used strictly for the following purposes:

  • Fulfillment: To process transactions and deliver your pre-loved luxury items to your designated shipping address.

  • Membership: To manage your OurLux account and provide loyalty rewards or exclusive early access to new arrivals.

  • Communication: To respond to your inquiries via WhatsApp and provide updates on your orders or requested items.

  • Personalization: To show you relevant luxury content on Instagram and improve our website’s shopping experience.

  • Third Parties: We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted partners necessary for operations (e.g., reputable courier services for shipping your purchases).

  • Security: We implement robust technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Information collected via our website is encrypted and stored securely.

  • Consent: By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy and the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

User Data Deletion

If you wish to disconnect our application and delete the activity data shared via Facebook or Instagram, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Facebook Profile’s Settings & Privacy > Settings.

  2. Navigate to Apps and Websites in the left-hand menu.

  3. Locate OurLux in the list of active apps.

  4. Click the Remove button.

  5. Optional: Check the box that says "Delete posts, videos or events OurLux posted on your timeline" and click Remove again to confirm.

If you would like us to manually purge all records of your personal data from our internal systems (including email logs, membership history, or WhatsApp contact records), please contact us directly:

  • Required Info: Please provide the email address or phone number associated with your account so we can locate your records.

Processing & Confirmation

  • Timeline: We will process your request and delete all associated data within 30 days.

  • Confirmation: Once the deletion is complete, we will send a confirmation email or message to your provided contact point. You may request a Deletion Reference Number at any time to track the status of your request.
